Responsive Videos Not Working

tubepress-pro wordpress youtube

Best Answer webplanetca , 02 July 2015 - 01:52 PM

I'm pretty certain it's due to the theme's preloader.  We're using a paid theme (Scalia), but to get around the issue, I added the following CSS to turn off the preloader on the video page.  With this fix, the main video will not display until one of the thumbnails are clicked.  It's not ideal, but it's better than having a preloader continuously spinning when you visit the page.

.preloader {
    display: none;
}
Appreciate all of your help, thanks!

I'm having troubles getting my gallery to be responsive.  It works perfectly when the "Responsive Embed" option is not checked on, but as soon as I enable it, my main video does not display (it shows a clock that is continuously spinning).  For an example, please visit: http://con-tech.webp...ca/commercials/

How can I fix this?  The site needs to be responsive.

I'm using TubePress Pro version 4.1.8  and pulling in videos from a Youtube Channel.

Thanks very much.

Hi,

Apologies for the delay in response - we were out of the office for the Memorial Day holiday.

Something on your site is adding that clock on top of TubePress, and it's "hiding" the video below. Here's a screencast demonstrating that when the clock is gone, TubePress looks and works perfectly. Looking a little closer, it seems to me that the clock is added by your theme. Does your theme have any options related to "pre-loader" or anything like that? You might also want to check with the theme developer to see if they have a solution.

Let us know - thanks!

Any luck finding what's adding the clock? Just checking in.

if you change themes, does tubepress function properly?

What theme are you using? is it free or paid? (asking because if its free, I'll slap it into my dev environment and test it out)

Thanks!
