Hi.  I bought a website through Flippa.com and it uses Tubepress. Is Tubepress able to dedicate each video its own URL like the website below can?

Example as how I would like my videos to be in my website:  http://yourmaxfitnes...r-olympia-2015/

In my makeselfdevelooment.com website Tubepress treats all videos under one URL only = http://www.makeselfi...ent.com/videos/

I hope I have made sense.

Would appreciate your help in this matter.

Many thanks

Hello,

TubePress creates the gallery on a single page and then plays the video in the player via AJAX.

I suppose one option is to use the standalone player, which forces a full page reload.  Another option would be to use the TubePress shortcode with the video= option, in order to place a single video on each page.

Otherwise, there's unfortunately no real way to accomplish what you want.

Thanks!

Hi Brandon

Thank you.

I heard that TubePress plugin uses Youtube API 2, which was discontinued by youtube, all videos on your sites that use TubePress plugin will stop working by the end of May.

Is this true?  What will happen to my videos that use TubePress.

Many thanks

Isabella

Isabella,

TubePress 3.x uses APIv2, however TubePress 4.x uses APIv3 and is fully compatible with YouTube.  If you haven't yet, please update to the latest version of TubePress and you'll be all set.

Thanks!
