Only 1 video is playing on the page, the rest are just thumbnail images and don't do anything when clicked. I've tried the debugging option in advanced settings, but I don't see any output.

This was working, I'm not sure what changed.

How do I move forward?

Hi Jim,

Please provide a link to your page so we can troubleshoot.

Also, to use the debugging, you must append ?tubepress_debug=true to the end of the URL that the TubePress gallery is on.

The most likely causes of your thumbnails not working are either, as was the case with Grant, another plugin is conflicting, or you are having a Cross Domain Ajax Issue.

If you post a link, I'd be more than happy to take a look.

Thanks!

Brandon,

Thanks for the reply. I was able to fix this. There was a conflict with another plugin, BuddyBoss Media. When I deactivated this plugin the problem was fixed.

Fairly new WordPress user - on this webpage: http://www.aaoutfitter.com/videos/

all the videos are there from the playlist but am not able to click on any of the others to make them play. Since I am a newbie and not really sure how to de-bug could you give me specific instructions on how to make this plugin work correctly on my site?

Hello,

It looks like part of your TubePress install was corrupted.  Please remove it completely and then re-install.

Primarily, your site is having issues with:

"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://www.aaoutfitt.../js/gallery.js"

Thanks!

I've got the same problem. Debugging is on.

A representative page is here: http://rv52.com/rvpa...ray-campground/

You can play the video in the viewer, but clicking any thumbnail causes a partial lightbox, then nothing. Any help would be great. I'm using Cloudflare, and W3 Total cache.

If this can get fixed, then I'm gonna be pretty excited about your version 4.

Thx,

Roseann, this looks similar to my issue as well. Maybe Eric & team can suggest a fix. Not sure how things can get fixed if it is a JS conflict...

Marlan,

The page linked just prints a bunch of characters and symbols on the page. Please provide a working link.

Thanks!

WOW! I'm glad you wrote back. That page worked perfectly - except only as an admin. I finally turned off the browser-header cacheing on W3 Total Cache and things are working again.

I guess I need to test my site always with a non-logged-in page.

Try it now. Thanks!

Brandon - it looks like my video player is working now. I don't know the exact problem but it seems to be a collision of my CDN (cloudflare) + W3 Total Cache settings... nothing definitive.

I decided I wasn't getting enough juice for the squeeze from cloudflare since I wasn't a paid account so I disconnected that CDN solely from the added standpoint it was extra complexity.

I then noticed that the browser caching was causing the bad page view you had seen.

I also had a video player enabled that I wasn't using and I think it used javascript so I removed it completely (leadplayer).

After all that - Tubepress is now working. Love the new "large" and responsive "normal" video viewer.

Sorry to bother you guys.

Maybe some of my suggestions will help someone else out OR someone might tell me something they did definitive to fix what i was viewing.

Cheers, Marlan

Marlan,

W3 Total Cache causes conflicts with TubePress.  If you can disable the caching of TubePress related items, it should be safe to turn it back on.

Thanks!
