Hi ,

I see that all YouTube videos are embedded and served via https. Is there any way I can embed videos using http? I see an option called 'Enable HTTPS' under Settings Page --> 'Advanced' menu. I turned this option 'OFF' but the video urls of the embedded videos still use https.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Allen

Hi Allen,

This is due to YouTube (Google), which is now serving and preferring all HTTPS (port 443) traffic, vs port 80 (http) traffic.  Unfortunately this is out of our hands.

Is there a particular reason that you do not want the HTTPS videos?

Thanks!
