Hello Sales Team,

I was able to see the youtube logo in all of the Demos from the set of wedding videos that were displayed.

My concern is that the logo was clickable and took you to the youtube site to view and get the actual youtube URL that they can share.

I want to people to subscribe with email address to access my video library. If someone gets to the library they then can click on the logo and receive the actual youtube URL and share it with everyone else. My videos are unlisted on youtube for that reason. Trying to find a player that will not allow the viewer to go to the actual youtube website to view the video. Can your player provide me with that option?

Hello JDTennis,

 

YouTube will not allow anyone to remove the YouTube Logo or link back to the site.  Have you thought about using a Private Vimeo account?  This would allow you to lock down the playing of your videos to only your website, using TubePress.

Thank you for the response, I was currently testing another plug in that, has no pathway back to youtube. It has its issues and tube press looks much cleaner. Does tube press give you the ability to place each URL of each video? Or is it based on a feed? Maybe that is the difference. I would rather pay for yours than the other. I will look into the pricing of the private vimeo. If you private message me I can give you the other plug in as out of respect to not disclose it in the forum. Thanks

I am a registered user but think that when I private messaged a developer and he replied they took away my private message capability. I wanted to reply to his reply but could not. I emailed support for the community but got no reply. I think all of this has to do with either the plug in uses a youtube player or the plug in uses their own player. That might be the issue. Would love to discuss
