I'm a newbie at doing websites, but am starting to get a handle on WordPress. I just purchased TubePress Pro, but have not seen any instructions as to how to import it into WordPress. I did a search for TubePress Pro in plugins on WP, and the search result only showed me that I have the free version installed. It didn't come up with the Pro version. I'm sure this is a simple issue. Can someone tell me how to get TBPro into my dashboard on WP? Also, once it's there, should I deinstall the free version? Thanks.

How do I get my TubePress Pro downloaded/installed in WordPress? I just purchased it about thirty minutes ago.

Thanks.

I think I found it going through previous posts here on the forum.

Guess I spoke too soon. I managed to get it downloaded. Now what is it that I should install as the plugin? There are several folders, and a few other files.

ccjerry,

First, you should uninstall your free version of TubePress (don't worry, you won't lose your settings as they're saved in the WordPress SQL Db)

Once you have done that, you will need to upload the TubePress_3_1_1.zip file to your WordPress install.

You do this from within the plugins tab in wordpress.  Near the top, you should see a link to "upload" a plugin.

You then select the .zip file that you downloaded and upload it to your WordPress.

Once you have done that, you should be able to activate the plugin and then you're good to go.

Let us know.

Thanks!

I don't see a .zip file anywhere. Here's what I see:

Downloads/tubepress_pro_3_1_1/index.php
Downloads/tubepress_pro_3_1_1/LICENSE
Downloads/tubepress_pro_3_1_1/src/
Downloads/tubepress_pro_3_1_1/tubepress.php
Downloads/tubepress_pro_3_1_1/vendor/

This should be way easier than this. All I see are complaint posts here. I'd like to get this resolved right away. I've tried uploading these to WP, but get an error message:

The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

Brandon,

I see that the question was still not answered; where do you go to download the zip files?

I loaded the 3.1.1 version (pro) and now my videos do not work at all.  The free version worked great!  Our PHP is higher then the min recommended 5.2.  Please help.  As I want to try the 3.1.0 or 3.0 version

Thanks,

PLEASE tell me (and Baker) where to download 3.1.1 Pro !!

WHY is Tubepress making this so difficult?

No upgrade option inside WP.

I've spent 15 minutes looking ALL OVER THE PLACE (uh, like the Download page!) for the darn file.

Thanks,
Jeff

Hi Jeff and Baker,

These files are available by clicking on the "Marketplace" links at the top of the page.

You then select the version of TubePress you wish to install.

Here is the link to the download page of 3.1.1 Pro: http://community.tub...-tubepress-pro/

Thanks!

Gee, nothing like taking five weeks to reply to my latest post, and two weeks from the most recent post from Jeff. C'mon, this is pathetic! Now, when I click on the link you included in your reply post, it gives me the option to "Buy Now." I'VE ALREADY BOUGHT THE DAMN PRODUCT. I'M JUST TRYING TO DOWNLOAD AND USE IT. Going to seek a refund soon if this doesn't get worked out. What horrible customer service!

ccjerry,

you must be logged into the User account that you purchased Pro using.  As your user name is not green, it is not the guest_ccjerry account, but a different account.

Thank you
