[tubepress theme="youtube" mode="tag" tagValue='"cottage grove speedway"|"cg speedway"' orderBy="published" resultsPerPage='40' resultCountCap="550" fullscreen="true"]

The code above works fine, but not everytime... Would the PRO version help, or am I doing something wrong...  Is there a limit to the number of requests from an IP address... It seems to ignore the "ORDERBY" sort order if you refresh the page...

Trying to display the MOST RECENT videos uploaded to YouTube using exact match phrases.

Any ideas or suggestions how to get an exact match phrase seach to to work consistently ... Im using wordpress 3.5.1 with tubepress 3.0.0 plugin

Hi Kevin,

The reason that your orderBy statement is not working is that "published" is not an option.  Please take a look here: http://tubepress.com...Options#orderBy to see the available options.  What you should be using is orderBy="newest"

Thanks!

Thanks, I've tried that... same results... maybe it is a cache issue, or something regarding exact match query using double or single quotes when sorted by upload date...  I've tried many things but can't seem to get consistent results.  I need exact match sorted by upload date query's to work every time.  Is it a quota issue from my ip address (if I go directly to youtube and do an exact match filter by upload date, I get the same messed up results as the plugin) it seems to ignore the exact match phrase but does sort correctly by upload date.  It just seems wierd...  I will try a different ip.  Any ideas?

Thanks, here's a link to a page with "newest" as the order... but it displays by relevance instead...  http://cottagegroves...-videos/videos/

The tubepress code on the page is [tubepress theme="youtube" mode="tag" tagValue='"cottage grove speedway"|"cg speedway"' orderBy="newest" embeddedHeight='480' embeddedWidth='640' resultsPerPage='40' resultCountCap="550" fullscreen="true" thumbHeight="180" thumbWidth="240"]

So is Youtube having issues? When I search youtube using an exact match phrase (quotes around a phrase) and sort by upload date it ignores the phrase match and serves unrelated videos, this worked fine a month ago.   Please help, trying to build a site that serves videos using tubepress of the most recently uploaded videos based on exact match phrase.

Yes, YouTube is working on this bug. Please star this issue to track updates. They're usually pretty good about fixing bugs after they've been acknowledged (as this one has).
