Hi Eric,

I updated through Wordpress today and all my short code incidences of tubepress broke... Did I miss a memo about needing to change something?

Cheers,
Andrew

Ok so I identified the problem. When I updated to the latest version, tubepress pro vanished. Since I had regular version deactivated the plugin obviously didnt work. Where did pro go though?

Hi,

It's somewhat likely that you were "accidentally" downgraded to the free version of TubePress during the upgrade process. Versions of TubePress previous to 3.0.0 would show a big warning banner, but sometimes it's easy to miss. TubePress 3.0.0 and up, however, will completely prevent the accidental downgrade. So this shouldn't happen again in the future.

I suggest simply wiping out any existing copies of TubePress from wp-content/plugins, then re-installing TubePress Pro. That should bring everything back to normal and you won't lose a thing.

Let us know how that works for you. Thanks!
