Did you follow the instructions for getting your own Google/YouTube API Code?

Are you running the latest version of TubePress (4.1.7)? Also, have you followed the API instructions?

Hello,

The high quality/high definition thumbs have those black lines as part of their formatting from YouTube.  You can use the YouTube Black Bar Removers plugin to remove those.

Thanks!

Never mind, I found the latest version.. but I'm getting a fatal error when installing... where can I find instructions to properly upgrade from 3.1?

Thanks!

Ok, working almost perfectly... the only issue is that shadowbox isn't working anymore... any ideas?

Thanks!

I am trying to update my API Key but nothing happens when I try to click the tabs under the Tubepress Settings.

It changes my url to www.mysite.com/wp-admin/options-general.php?page=tubepress#feed-category

but nothing on the page changes. I have tried multiple browsers, my iphone, uninstalling and reinstalling, multiple versions of tubepress. Nothing seems to be working.

I can't verify wether or not it was working before I tried to update to version 4.1.8.

Please help. My next step is to purchase the pro version.

Do you have a link to your site that you could share? Should be easy to remotely diagnose the problem. Thanks!

Strange - that's the first I'm hearing of this issue. Are you willing and able to provide me with WordPress admin credentials to your site so I could investigate the problem? If so, please feel free to send the credentials via a new ticket.

If that's not an option, I could try to guide you through some debugging steps.

Thanks!

Hi Eric, yes here!... http://pachamassive.com/

many thanks!

Looks like the issue is that you have multiple copies of jQuery loaded on your site. In fact, there are duplicated loads of almost all of your scripts, so there's a significant problem that needs to be addressed. It's not entirely clear to me why the second copy of jQuery is getting loaded, but my hunch is that it's related to the Stratus player. The quickest way to find the culprit, unfortunately, is to disable your plugins one-by-one until you get down to a single load of jQuery. I'd start with anything related to Stratus, though.

Does that make sense? Let me know if I can assist in this process.

Yes, I'm not a programmer per say, but I can imagine how accessing multiple copies of a script could cause hiccups..

The interesting thing is that I never had an issue prior to upgrading to Tubepress 4. I'm not sure if you are aware that deadmau5 also uses Tubepress, and it seems his site also had similar issues as some of us... also interesting is that he was using Stratus as well, but not anymore, also not using shadowbox, which he was before. So you might be right about Stratus being where I should look first...

I'll get around to troubleshooting the plugs and if I hit a wall, I might take you up on your offer :)

Thanks again!

Ok so I deactivated all plugins( except Tubepress) and the issue still persists, I just used jqmodal and that works fine, so I'm ok with that...

an issue that came up is that the 4.1.9 upgrade showed up on the updates page and I get this when I try to update: An error occurred while updating TubePress Pro: Update package not available.

Do you recommend I just upload the zip and update that way?

and when I deactivated all the plugins I got this error related to Tubepress

Fatal error: Internal Zend error - Missing class information for in /home/content/../......../.../pachamassive/pm/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_4_1_8/src/platform/scripts/boot.php on line 15

Again, I'm satisfied with jqmodal but I'd like to update to the latest version... just wanted to know if it was ok( given the above messages) if I just upload the zip and update that way..

Thanks!

Hello,

Please see towards the bottom of this article for the cause of the Internal Zend Error and the fix.

In regards to uploading the plugin, currently the only way to update is via FTP, thanks!
