I just purchased TubePress Pro yesterday v4.1.6 and upgraded successfully.  Fixed the undocumented shadowbox licensing issue and other issues I was having by digging through the forum for problems dexperienced by others.

Today Wordpress reported version 4.1.7 is available.  Since there is no "auto-upgrade" facility I went to my account and the only download available is still v4.1.6.

Where is the new version?  I need it asap to resolve other issues with our site.

2nd issue:  Why is the plugin folder named by the version rather than simply Tubepress_Pro?   This requires many unnecessary steps to upgrade to any new version.

Thanks.

Drpark,

We have not yet released 4.1.7 to my knowledge.

Also, the shadowbox issue is documented here

We label the file with the version number so that if you have multiple copies on your PC, you select the correct one to upload.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for the response!  This is what I see in Wordpress:

Note the line that says, "There is a new version of Tubepress Pro available..."

I see the same thing on my control panel. I couldn't find the upgrade and came here to report it - but see that someone else has the same problem.

You make it very difficult to find the upgrade files to download. Add a direct link to the downloads folder in the Wordpress upgrade notice.

Even on the homepage of Tubepress there is nothing there to guide you. If a user does follow a link from the TubePress community forum and land at http://community.tub...m/74-wordpress/ there still isn't an obvious link to download the updates. By chance I clicked on the "Marketplace" link sending me to http://community.tubepress.com/files/

On that page I STILL could not find an obvious link to download my files. On that page under "Most Watched," which would make anyone think these are videos, is a link to "TubePress Pro 4.1.8."  Surprisingly the link to download the files is here.

The files are here for those who need them: https://community.tu...-tubepress-pro/

I would challenge the TubePress staff to start at the homepage and report the links they clicked on to get to the Wordpress plugin update file. Eating your own dog food, as they say...

Ditto, regarding the TubePress Pro 4.1.8: it should be more user friendly for paying customer.
