Having trouble getting Youtube to work.  I have the latest version 4.1.5 installed on WordPress 4.1.2 running Avada theme version 2.0.6.

Page is cb.blacktwigmarketing.com/videocoverage. This is a development site so i can show the client the page and get their approval before moving it live to the production site.

I have checked for Cross-Domain Ajax and inserted a line in the .htaccess file for redirects.  checked to see the wp_head( ) function was there. Looked and saw a lot of jquery statements so i disabled all the plugins except youtube and the videos still wouldn't play.  Added the google api key to the feed section.  tubepress still doesn't function.

Enabled the Firebug and noted that clicking on the video thumbnail change the initial video to a shaded lightbox and firebug states the video is  "404 not found".

attached is a screen shot of the firebug info.

At a loss and need guidance.

Thanks.

Is there any update on this?

Our clients are screaming at us!

Bit more info, we're on AWS, Apache 2.2, Php 5.3, behind an ELB, and Incapsula (we also tested without), running either latest WordPress or the version before (we've tested on several of our sites).

We suspect something with the cross-domain thingummy, but plenty of other plugins we have use Ajax and we don't have issues with those.

We've installed on vanilla systems, and with default themes, so it isn't a plugin or theme conflict.

Davids22, what's your config like?

Tubepress, please respond soon as possible, at least give us something we can go back to our clients with.

Many thanks!

Haven't heard anything from support at tubepress.

I have tubepress installed on different subdomains for testing. These are all basic Wordpress installs with only the basic plugins that come default to the Wordpress install and I am having issues with getting the thumbnails to work or to show up at all.

Davids22, what hosting do you use eg. Godaddy, Amazon, etc?

I ask because we're wondering if that has got something to do with it. On a non AWS-instance, we can get it to work.

Part of my confusion with this issue is that it was working perfectly before the update and forced switch to pro, on the same site.

Thanks for your response.  I have just updated and will test the installation.  I may have dink it already trying to figure out the error so i might have to delete the plugin and reinstall.  You don't foresee any issues using Tubepress on the main domain, domain.com, and the subdomain, sub.domain.com?

there shouldn't be any issues, however you could run into cross domain AJAX issues.

Thanks!

great. I have updated and the 404 issue is gone! However, i can only get three thumbnails to show when there should be 15.  Suggestions?  The site is cb.blacktwigmarketing.com/videocoverage

David,

three thumbnails is the limitation of the Free Trial of TubePress. In order to display all of your thumbnails, along with unlocking a number of other premium features, you must purchase TubePress Pro.

Thanks!
