Internal Server Error

wordpress tubepress-pro

Best Answer eric, 03 April 2015 - 12:43 PM

after going from 5.3 to 5.4, and I haven't had the error at all.

That's good to hear! It's likely a bug with PHP 5.3 that wasn't fixed. Please don't hesitate to post back here if the problem crops up again.

I am trying to install Tubepress Pro 4.0.8. Whenever I activate the plug it, my whole site goes down. Front end and back end all I get is an internal server error. I have to go in via FTP to delete the plugin, then the site works again. I have done this five times and no matter what I try the result is the same.

can someone please help me?

I uninstalled version 4.0.8 and went back to 3.0.0. For some reason 4.0.8 broke my whole site.

I have reinstalled 4.0.8. The site is now working right. I am still getting

Now, all I get is an internal server error whenever I try to access wp-admin. It only works if I FTP and delete tubepress manually

problem fixed! I unistalled 4.0.8 and now I am back to running 3.0.0. Now, my questions is how do I get a refund for having purchased 4.0.8. This plugin does not work. The tech support is slow and I am already looking at other plugins for my site. I don't know what happened to tubepress, it used to be good.

This error is, in my experience, almost always caused by either 1) a corrupt TubePress installation or 2) APC misbehaving. Which version of PHP are you using? And which opcache?

The tech support is slow

Our technical support staff works here in the forum Monday through Friday, so we would have addressed this post tomorrow at the latest.

I'm having a similar error, with a few exceptions. After installing the latest tubepress pro version it was working fine. The site functions normally, even the pages with my video galleries. However, while I'm adding posts, seemingly at random, I get the Internal Zend Error thrown at me. Here's the full error:

Fatal error: Internal Zend error - Missing class information for in /home/content/18/10066318/html/destinationsmalltown.com/wp-content/plugins/tubepress_pro_4_0_8/src/platform/scripts/boot.php on line 15

It happens when I add Map Locations using MapifyPro. I'm not sure if there's a compatibility issue there or not. I don't think there is, because I was able to use the MapifyPro plugin for a week or more without any of these errors.

Once this seemingly randomly-timed error gets thrown my site goes down. I just have to walk away and after a while things will work.

I have the latest version of WordPress installed and PHP 5.3.

Update

I attempted to write a php ini for my GoDaddy hosting to disable APC, but the error persists.

I also attempted to update from PHP 5.3 to 5.4 (saw that it helped some people), but the error still persists after the update finished.

Could you post a screencap (or URL) of your site's phpinfo() output? Here are the simple instructions from GoDaddy on how to accomplish this. Might help us reproduce the issue.

Is PHP 5.4 the highest version of PHP available to you? That version has reached end of life and upgrading to the latest PHP is almost always a good idea.

I have PHP 5.4.19. It seems like it just took longer for my php update to refresh than GoDaddy originally said. I've been using it for a few days now and after going from 5.3 to 5.4, and I haven't had the error at all.

Also, yes, PHP 5.4 seems to be the highest available version of PHP for my account.
