Flexible Thumbnail Rows Not Working

Best Answer levseltzer, 04 December 2014 - 12:31 AM

The client requested that ALL of the videos (which is under 50) be displayed. In this mode, it seems to work properly.

Browsers were MSIE 1 (latest) and FF (33.1)

I installed TubePress followed by a purchase of the flexible addin. I installed in the folder:
file://alehisraelfoundation.org/wp-content/tubepress-content/add-ons/flexible-thumbnail-rows_1.0.0
and made sure to put a check next to the "Flexible thumbnail rows" option
However, the rows are still cut off.
I am using Version 3.1.6, which seems to be the latest version.

What do I do to get it to work?

Hi Levseltzer,

TubePress 4.0.1 is actually the newest version, however Flexible Thumbnails should be working properly for you on 3.1.6.

Would you please provide a link to a page within your site where TubePress with Flexible Thumbnails is not functioning properly as well as enable TubePress Debugging.

Thanks!

page is http://www.alehisrae...ion.org/videos/
debug is on
4.0.1 is not available via the standard WordPress plugins menu. I downloaded the latest version from your website and tried to upload it via the plugins menu, but this failed..

Thank you

Hello,

Your page is returning a 404 Not Found:

"NetworkError: 404 Not Found - http://www.alehisrae...mbnail-rows.js"

Once that is resolved, you should be good to go.

Thanks

the instructions at http://docs.tubepres...ntent-directoryindicate that the add-on goes in a different folder. Specifically, it should be
http://www.alehisrae...umbnail-rows.js

You can see that the file DOES exist at this location.

FYI: I decided to follow your instructions in this forum, and I put the add-on where you indicated. It works.
I would suggest you either correct your instructions page, or adjust it to make it clearer, as I did not follow the instructions properly.

Thank you for your help.

I apologize for being bothersome, but the plugin is not working quite the way I would have thought.
I have configured it to display 2 rows of 4 videos, and sometimes the 'boxes' stretch to contain all the text, and sometimes they don't. Also, sometimes the last lines of the description bleed into the footer, and sometimes they don't.
You can see the results of the page http://www.alehisrae...ion.org/videos/ in the two attached files.

Hello levseltzer,

I just viewed your page in Firefox and reloaded it multiple times and did not experience the issue you are seeing in your screenshots.

What browser did you experience that issue using?

thanks!
